Mahachaitya,the main stupa of museum have remains of Buddha. Other tourist attractions are Ethipothala waterfalls and Srisailam wildlife sanctuary. Both are very close to Dam. Ethipothala falls is combination of three streams drops down to male a lagoon. This lagoon is well known for The crocodile breeding centre. There are two well known temples near the waterfall known as Ranganadha and Dattatreya.
